Has your impression changed since, or do you still have that same reaction of dislike? I definitely find myself holding onto impressions I formed as a youngster sometimes.

My impression hasn't changed. I knew she had different aspects. I'm not going to forget that she was depicted as cruel and vain at some points, but that's true of most ancient deities (maybe I hold it against her more, though, because she's meant to be the goddess of wisdom); I also always thought it was interesting that she was born fully grown, from her father's head.
