Help[Opinions] Which way to pronounce our baby girl's name?
I posted earlier about a girl's name (thanks to everyone who replied!) My husband really likes Madeline so we are pretty positive we are going with that, since I like them all.
My question is... I'm not sure if I prefer it pronounced "Mad-e-line" or "Mad-e-lyn." I think they are both pretty, so I'm wondering if anyone knows which is the correct pronunciation?
I don't like the Madelyn spelling so either way we will be spelling it Madeline.
We were leaning towards the "line" pronunciation but I have heard that the "lyn" pronunciation is actually the correct one to use... also our daughter's middle name is Caroline so I'm not sure if Madeline (pron. "line") is too similar sounding?
