[Facts] Ségolène = Sieglinde?
by

I looked up the meaning of Ségolène (f, French) on the French sites linked on Btn. They say the name was of Germanic origin. Now I'm wondering: Is Ségolène the same as Sieglinde?
Any thoughts? Thank you!
