Help[Opinions] Caitla (sighting)
I just came across Caitla in the real world. I've seen many variants of Caitlin (Kaitlyn, Katelyn, Caytlin, etc.), but this is the first time I've ever seen Caitla. At the time of this post, it's not even a submitted name in our database (this surprised me). Honestly, I don't think it's that bad as far as "modern" / "created" names go.

It's definitely better then kre8tve Caitlin variants (Caitlynn, Katlin, etc.) and I agree it's not bad as far as modern names go.

I like it. Kaitla would work too, or Catla / Katla.

-la was a fairly common elaboration at one point. It may have been inspired by Darla, Starla, Marla etc. Maybe even Carla!
I wouldn't use it but it's not awful. I bet it just gets misheard as Caitlin a lot which would be annoying.
