I can't picture betty on anyone under sixty. It's a nice name, but a nice Grandma name, not a nice Baby name. I think it's fine as a full name.
It's damn sure a better name than Inez, which sounds like something to do with a nose, or James-on-a-girl; you're not being cute, people, you're being stupid.
