Too close to Nazarene or Margarine (like others posted).

Marzarine? I dont like it much, like a cross between 2 sorts of food: Margarine and Marzipan. A little bit strange, and it doesnt sound like a name.

Margarine, mazarin, marzipan . . .
. . . take your pick. It's not a terrible sound but it definitely sounds like a food not a person.

A "mazarin" is a pastry
At least in Sweden a "mazarin" is a popular pastry, so Mazarine sounds really odd as a first name. Have you not heard of mazarin buns?
The mazarin cakes were probably named after the /in/famous French cardinal Mazarin.

It reminds me of Jules Cardinal Mazarin (Giulio Raimondo Mazzarino; 1602-1661), the semi-infamous Italian-French minister of France from 1642 onwards.
Mazarin's famous in his own right, but he's possibly even more famous for his three Mancini nieces: Ortensia (Hortense), Maria (Marie), and Olimpia (Olympe) were all mistresses of Louis XIV of France, and Ortensia also became the lover of Charles II of England.
So... semi-infamous French politicians and not-especially-outstanding royal mistresses. No, sorry, Mazarine does not endear itself as a female given name!

I didn't think of Magazine...but I did think of Margarine. Not much better! Sorry.

When I saw it, I misread it as Magazine. I can also see Margarine in it!
