[Opinions] Nigella WDYT?

I don't mind Dominic per se, though unfortunately 'dom' is Afrikaans for 'stupid' - like 'dumb' in the States - so using it here would be risky.
Thomasina is a cat name. Too long for a human, and too clunky. Tamsin is better but I don't like it either. Thomasina Lawson is just awful!
Horatia isn't a patch on Horatio. All right, it was used for Nelson's daughter, but for general use I far prefer the masculine form.
And Nigella ... I've only known two Nigels, both of them disasters in different ways, and it does affect my thinking. It's not a bad name but it carries too much baggage for me. As for a wannabe-charismatic TV cook, falling out of her clothing while stirring the soup, I'm afraid she does nothing for it.
Let's play! Rather than Dominic, I'd use Benedict, nn Ben. And for the girls, feminised male names that I like enough to use include Cecily, Harriet and Philippa. I like my set better than the real-life one.

I like Thomasina.
Dominic is nice enough.
The others are awful. It looks like they really wanted three more sons, Thomas, Nigel and Horatio. I mean, maybe that was not their intent at all, but they'd have to be pretty dumb not to realize that what they were doing was about as subtle as a punch in the nose.
And the names are awful anyhow.
