I like it, it does evoke "Arcade" but whatever. I might like Arcadia a bit more. And I prefer the artificial construction Arcady to Arkady, but it's all good.

I like it and have for a number of years now, which is a bit surprising for me since it usually isn't the type of name I go for. But I can't help to be an fan of Arcadius. It just sounds SO friggen cool and badãss! It sounds like the perfect name for some character with special abilities or perhaps one's who's a angel, demon or monster or some sort. Although I don't see the name working well in reality, (unless perhaps one wishes to attract some unwanted attention) but still a fan of it all the same and I would personally use 'Cade' as a nickname. (:

I love both Arcadius and Arkady. I have a slight preference for Arkady because of my SO's Russian heritage, but they're both great names!

I don't really like Arcadius. It sounds like a place or a brand name to me. I love Arkady though, and Arkadiusz.

It's one of my newest favorites. It's definitely Byzantine in stature (which I love), but I think the nickname Archie renders it usable and approachable. I also love Arkady.
