[Opinions] Kaydea
I submitted this name a while back. This belonged to a sort-of friend in high school. She was a very nice girl, but we were never that close. Different circles.
I can't find anything about it and it's more than likely made-up. It's a shame I can't just pop up and ask her randomly about her name lmao
But does anybody here like this name?
Do you find it better or worse than the other trendy made-up names?
Edit: It's pronounced kay-DEE (though with it being most likely made-up, opinions on other pronunciations are welcome)

Looks made-up. I don’t care for it.
Not a fan, it looks just odd. FWIW, while I don’t particularly like the various Kaylie and Kayla, I don’t hate them as much as other people here do, they’re just boring.
How is it pronounced? KAY-dee-ah? kay-DEE-ah? kay-DAY-ah? KAY-dee?
I can’t say I’m a fan as it seems like just a collection of trendy sounds with no substance, but I would be interested to know more.

Going by Kaydea from school it was kay-DEE. Kinda like a corruption of Katie now that I think about it. If any other pronunciation is used, I'm unaware of it.
Oh I thought Kay dee a, I know a girl Kaydee, she's 15. It's ok, goes alongside Katie and Kasey
Haha I probably should edit the first post to specify - I'll do that now idk why I've not already
Maybe they took a trip to Canada and kept hearing “K.D.” everywhere. As in K.D. Lang or Kraft Dinner.
Perhaps. KD Lang was active from 1981 apparently so that's well within range. Her 1992 album [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ing%C3%A9nue_(album)] peaked at #3 on the UK charts so I'm guessing she was known decently well over here too.
Also maybe they took a trip to America and heard the way Katie was pronounced there (I'm unsure what areas specifically, but there was a girl who moved from Alabama who pronounced Katie's name similar to Kaydea's). Maybe its a forced pronunciation?

Meh, I heard worse trendy names. But I'm personally not a fan.
