Disgustingly hideous. Grenda and Lyn are bad by themselves, but together they’re just not good.
I’m sorry but I don’t like it. I think is sounds like a wicked character in a fantasy novel.
I might actually consider using it in that context.

Egregiously bad.
It sounds like a fake Gwendolyn. People will always mishear it.
Apart from that it sounds like "grind" and "grate". It's unattractive.

Fail. It sounds like either a mispronunciation of Gwendolyn, or like someone trying to feminize Grendel; which is not at all a good association and there's a good reason nobody is named Grendel.
Ugh, no. It looks like somebody misheard Gwendolyn. And every single thing about it is unappealing.
I like Gwendolyn, but not this. I think of Gremlins.
Abominable
I think of Grendel from Beowulf.

Yep. I think Grendalyn sounds like a female version on Grendel.
Someone asked me once what character from fiction I'd like to be, and - partly because it's a silly question - I volunteered to be Grendel's mother. Even tougher than Grendel ...
Oh, I love the character! Haha.
Grendel's mom is kinda like the gym teacher's grandma
Think about it

It feels like somebody tried to feminize Grendel... as in, the monster from Beowulf. Sorry, I think it's awful.
Sounds like a witch name.

Then it's great! Context is key.

Wow, I think I just found my new #1 most hated name. Sorry if you like it but, to me, there is nothing redeeming about Grendalyn. It starts off harshly, ends trendy, and sounds like "gremlin". Yikes...
Immediately brings me to the monster from Beowulf. I'd stick with Gwendolyn. It's much softer and lighter.
dont like it
