[Opinions] Baron
"BARON" has always been on my Guilty Please list. It's a title/ member of mobility and always has that "distinguished" feel, (the same vein as Duke)No relation to the First Son "Barron" by the way.Pairings includeBaron Thomas
Baron Joseph
Baron Andrew
Baron Gryffin
Baron Wilson
Baron Alistair
Baron Louis
Baron AnthonySlytherin will help you on your way to greatness!!!

Extraordinarily pretentious.

I don't like Barry, and Duke sounds obnoxious to me, but I prefer Baron to those.
Maybe because it sounds like Byron, which I've always liked the sound of (and prefer). I also like Oberon.Vaughn (maybe because I tend to hear 'Baron von...') seems a similar style to me but less pompous.
Robin seems vaguely similar, too...but then maybe I'm associating 'robber baron', eek.Baron Bernard
Baron Oleander
I feel like it's hard to pair a middle name with. The more traditional the MN, the more Baron seems meant as a title.

I don’t really care for it, mainly because It sounds just like “barren” when I say it, and generally, barren is not a happy thing.I like the spelling of Baron, though, and the sound of it is sort of nice. I’m not super into title-y names though, so it does get a “no” from me.People saying they can’t like it because of Baron Trump... my gosh, he’s a kid? Like what, 14? What in the world did he ever to do anyone for people to be so negative about him?

It might be seen as a political name, if you know what I mean.

I specifically pointed out that it was of no relation to Trump's son, whose name is spelled BARRON (Double R).

Its... pronounced the same. The additional R does nothing. It's like claiming Cecilia and Cecelia isn't the same name. Or Aimee and Amy. Or Zoe and Zoey and Zoë and Zoie and Zoé. It's the exact same name.My point of it being a potential political name stands.

Too much baggage...I have only known one person named Baron and he was not very nice. Now the name has the added baggage of the Trump association. I just have no pleasant thoughts related to the name at all. Not sure how I'd feel if those two things were absent.

Oh aye, Trump's kid is named Baron isn't he? I don't immediately think of Trump when I hear Baron, personally, I see "The Baron" aka John Mannering;https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_BaronI've not seen much of the series (my parents love it), but I still think of an undercover agent as opposed to a spoilt rich kid. Or whatever Baron Trump is like, I presume people have an opinion on his person outside of his father (I don't, I forget his existence clearly lol)Anyway I don't like Baron as a name. I don't like any title as a name unless they're on pets. For a certain group of people (mostly those who reside in America), I agree "Baron" might be seen as too close of a connection to Bad Florida Man regardless of our thoughts on the name itself.

Baron Trump is still a kid, so I can't judge him as a person yet. My fondest wish is that he will turn out well in spite of his family. But when I hear Baron, I definitely think Trump.

Oh is he? I thought the photo I saw of him was from the early 90s I mean the decor is gaudy enough .... or is that another kid? [googles]Okay it may have been Eric then lol

I can only think of Barron Trump whenever I see/hear this name, or royalty or something. It’s a 5/10 at most. It more of a title than a name, but I like Baron Louis or Baron Joseph.

I don't think titles make suitable names at all. Especially since Baron and barren sound the same ...

Very royal, therefore, I like it a lot. Thomas, Joseph, Gryffin, Wilson, Louis are good
