Thoughts on this girls name? I was rooting around in some old boxes this morning and found this calendar my mom made in middle school, one of the birthdays she'd put on it was this "Bonita." have you heard of this name before, and what do you think about it?

It autocompletes to "bonita Aurelia" in my mind because of "Love Actually". So a no from me, the adjective vibes are too strong.

I have heard the name and I like it. It has a sweet retro feel to it. There was an actress named Bonita Granville who played Nancy Drew at one point.

I knew a Bonnie before, but never a Bonita. Anyways, it’s better than Dorita, but I prefer Anita over both.

I know one who spells it Bonnita. She goes by Bonnie.
