[Opinions] Oroian
My mother had a classmate in high school named Oroian, pronounced O-roy-an. She went by Roian. I have never come across this name anywhere else. Have you? What do you think of it?

And last of all an Admiral came,
A terrible man with a terrible name,—
A name which you all know by sight very well;
But which no one can speak, and no one can spell.

It sounds masculine to me. I like the way it looks and might consider using it as a name for a book character. It brings to mind a fantasy character in my opinion.
Too many vowels.
Reminds me of Orion, one of my favorite astronomy names and has a very similar (if not exactly the same) pronunciation as Oroian. Though I see it as a purely masculine name so I can't see either Orion or Oroian as a feminine use.
It's certainly different and I can't say I hate it. But I can't say I like it either.
