I really enjoy the period charm of Godfrey, and its beautiful if improbable meaning - most gods seem to be fonder of war than of peace, no matter what they claim! Aapo is quite simply impossible where I live, where 'aap' (a cognate of English 'ape' of course) means 'ape' or 'monkey'.

Godfrey's folks are religious or history people. Aapo has famous parents or ones that are reconnecting to their roots.
