Marie is actually a very pretty name. It gets shunted to the middle so often that it's lost a bit of sparkle, but it's really very sprightly! I like it much better than Mary.
I think Rosemarie would be a great way to honour your grandma.

I've def considered just naming my second child Marie. I do love Marie. I know a lot of people push it toward the middle name space, but I love it. It's a great name all on it's own.
