[Opinions] Plum...
...as a nickname for Victoria? After the Victoria plum. I think it could be cute as a pet name. :)
BQ: What’s your favorite nickname for Victoria? Do you like Victoria in general?

I can see the appeal of the nickname, but I always think that sort of nickname should be something that happens spontaneously, rather than being though out in advance.
The only Victoria I know goes by Vicky, and that's my favorite nickname for it as well.

It's kind of a stretch as a nn, and seems like it's showing off and making a weak inside joke.
Plum is kind of dumb anyway. Plum crazy.
I never cared much for Victoria, it's cold and trying to be fancy but isn't.
I do like Vicki on its own.

I actually don't hate Plum as a name in its own right, stone me now. I don't think it makes sense as a nickname for Victoria.
I like Victoria too much to mess with it and use Plum as a nn.
I know a Chinese woman who went through a phase of asking everyone to call her Plum instead of her very pretty Chinese name, which has something to do with fruit or forests or something ... but it never caught on.
I would use Vickie if anything, because of a very good friend whose parents reasoned that they would always and only call her Vickie so they might as well make it official.

I've heard Vika (vee-ka) used for a kid and thought it was cute...her mom was Russian.
But I don't really like any of the NNs, at least not enough to want to be called them (it's my name).
I like the idea of Victoria more as a MN.
Victoria "Plum" seems random, individual, fruity, colorful, a little mischievous...more fun than the alternatives except maybe Toya or Vix.

Vika’s adorable :)
Plum is so far down in top associations with Victoria it might as well be a nickname for just any random name if you think it sounds cute, which I don't
I dislike Victoria, but I think Plum is an adorable nickname for it.
