I like it, but it might be hard for English speakers. Maybe a different spelling? Another name in Hungarian also means red - Voros.Piri is a cute nickname, tho.If you really want a Hungarian name, Tímea / Aliz / Évike / Etel / Karsa / might be a little easier to pronounce.

I don't like its meaning, but I like how it sounds. I would use it in a children's story.

It looks like Pirožka in Czech / diminutive of pirog in Russian. Which is like naming someone "dumpling" or "pie"
Definitely wouldn't work in a Slavic language, since most people would recognize it as a food. Hungarian is a Finno-Ugric language, so that wouldn't come up as a problem in Hungarian.
