Hi! My name is Noelle and I've only ever gone by Noelle since I was born. But, next year I'll be going to college and I'm tempted to start going by Ella. I grew up with an Ella whose given name was Noelle, so I've thought about going by Ella before and this would be the perfect time to start. My only concern is that Ella is quite a common name so I'm not sure if I would regret it.

p.s. yes, my posting name is Ella. I often use Ella for my name on websites, but no one has ever called me Ella in real life
