[Opinions] Re: Need Help w/ Scottish Gaelic Boy Name
in reply to a message by ccbonaville
Lonán means "little blackbird" but it's Irish.
Cormac is from the Gaelic corb, "raven". Cormag is the Scots version.
Niall could mean both "cloud" and "champion" (I find Niall really handsome too, it's so dignified)
Shaw means "wolf"
Some names submitted to the site are interesting:
Artagan - a form of Artair, which could mean "bear, stone, god, noble"
Cullach "boar"
Latharn "fox"
Rannoch "bracken"
Samhain "summer's end; assembly"
Shanachie "a teller of tales; a historian" (I love this one)
Struan "stream"
