I quite like it; not enough to use, but more than, eg, Lionel or Leonard, and much more than downmarket Leon.

I used to love Leo when it was a true "old man name" - so, what, like 20 years ago? Before it got cool. Haha, what a snob I am.

I prefer Leopold, with Leo as a nickname option.

I don't like it as a full name. As a shortening of either Leopold or Leonardo, it's good.

this is my favorite boy name, I plan to name a firstborn son this after my grandfather, He was a Leonard "Leo" so I would use Leonardo "Leo". So yes I share your enthusiasm. handsome and classic.
