Law and
Glory do not seem aesthetically compatible concepts to me. They're so ugly together. Unyielding and glaring. Self-righteous, on average.
Laws are necessary evils. I do like having them but not when they're glorified.
I guess the most charitable way I could think of it is 'splendidness of proper proportions and natural forces'...which still seems a little priggish.
Or 'equality and order as a manifestation of the divine' doesn't seem too bad, but I don't think that'd be an honest rendering of custom and law, as concepts IRL.
I don't hate it. I mostly just feel suspicious of it. Maybe because I'm left-handed, who knows.
