Hey, I really like the names
Emily. As I'm only 17 (
Junior in hs), in my generation there are a lot of
Emily's. Everywhere there were
Emily's left and right. Some parents tried to spell it Differently and spelled it
Emilee or
Emilie (which is actually French), I don't care for those spellings. I like how it's very well known, but it isn't so popular anymore. Some people think the name
Emily needs a very long rest, and that
Emily is bland, stale, and overused. Do you think by the time I have children (again, 17 year old guy here.) that
Emily would be fine and people would think differently of it? It seems people tend to go away from this name and choose more unique names. Do you think
Emily will ever get a full revival? (Not popular in my neck of the woods anymore.)
My other favorite names are
Clarissa and
Alexandra. I like the combos
Clarissa Emily,
Alexandra Emily and
Emily Alexandra.
