[Opinions] Re: Eleanor
I used to love it, but it can come off a bit old lady, and I know a lot of people detest it. I now prefer Nora by itself. However, I've considered using a variant of Eleanor as a full name for Nora, as I've dated someone with a last name that flowed terribly with Nora. Specifically we considered Ellinor nn Nora. Ellinor is a Scandinavian spelling that feels a little fresher and less old-lady imo, but I still think Eleanor is still a pretty, respectable name, with lots of great namesakes--like Eleanor Roosevelt. So if you love it, go for it.
