[Opinions] Hope?
WDYT about the name Hope for a girl's first name? It's a new name obsession of mine. What are some middle names for it? I usually use it as a MN. So have no idea on it as a first name. Feel free to suggest 2 MN combos! All suggestions are welcomed!
I came up with....
Hope Ember
But not sure if I like it or not yet.
Thank you!
Tammy Lynn
Kaleb Joshua Wyatt
Lilith Morgana June
Joah Paul Benjamin
Sariah Jade Alice 01-16-15
Freya Aliona Jocelyn 02-21-17

Hope vs Faith
I kind of like Hope it's nice in its own way, but I have always had a preference in Faith. To me Hope always gives off the impression of an awkward young woman still trying to figure things out but with Faith I always imagine a young woman that is a sophisticated musician. I always imagined a single, and confident career-driven violinist of an orchestra whenever I hear the name Faith. Faith has figured it out. Hope is a late bloomer that still can't muster up the courage to talk to men sometimes. But I'll tell you which one I more closely relate to lmao!

Thank you! I can see that. And Thank you for that view. I like Faith, but only for a middle name at this point.
Idk if this is off topic but in terms of the virtue names as a teen I came up with a retro sibset supposed to be set in the Regency period I liked alone those lines as the middles like you say:
Catherine Joy-eldest
Frances Hope -middle
Helena Faith - middle
Louisa Grace -youngest
*can't even remember if people even had middle names during the Regency Period but I'm too lazy to research lmao

I prefer Ember to Amber, but I think Amber sounds little nicer after Hope. So my first suggestion will be Hope Amber.
Maybe it needs something longer.
Hope Rhiannon
Hope Adelaide
Hope Virginia
Hope Athena
Hope Briallen
Hope Yolanda
Hope Aurelia
Hope Augustine
Hope Nicolette
Hope Imani (too virtuous in meaning maybe?)
Or perhaps sturdy, but not overdone
Hope Iman
Hope Annegret
Hope Vera
Hope Adele
Hope Betsy
Hope Tamsin
Hope Laura
Hope Sandrine

I'm not a fan of it. I appreciate the sentiment behind it, hope is a positive thing, but as a name it rubs me the wrong way. It's saccharine. It perhaps also has an almost naive vibe to it, like someone is only relying on hope (or wishful thinking), instead of thinking things through and acting.
I like the meanings behind the combo Hope Ember (like a spark of hope, hope igniting). Flow is ok but not great. No idea for middle names.
