1) Rosalyn (BA didn't have a middle name) joined older brother Westley
Personally I don't think we're ready for Rosalyn to come back, it sounds very dated. I wish it was Rosalin, Rosalind, Rosaline. I do like the sibset idea of Westley + a Rose name (and I like Westley on its own).

2) first name Violet, middle name Emrys
The birth announcement said they/them so maybe the parents wanted the combo to have one "girl" name and one "boy" name to prevent people from assuming the baby's gender, but I think a people will assume "she/her" based on the first name Violet. I like the name Violet but I don't think it goes with Emrys. I also like Emrys (prefer it for a boy, but I could see it being unisex in the US). But I think Violet was not a good FN choice if they wanted to avoid people assuming gendered pronouns.

2.) I agree, I think that if they wanted to go for a more gender-neutral combo they should have just gone all out with a unisex name in both spots. You can't get much more feminine than a flower name.
1.) I like Rosalyn but it's very reminiscent of the mid-twentieth century names ending in -lyn via Carolyn and Kathryn etc, so the current 50 to 65 year olds and it feels a little dry as a result. But I will say this even though I definitely prefer the Rosaline spelling if I had to pick one of the mid-century names this would be a contender not going to lie. It's the most appealing of the starchy -lyn names. * on that note I'm starting to wonder if in 50 years from now women will have an aversion to the -ana or -bella names for the same reason. That'd say "too middle aged!!" Lol!
