2.) I agree, I think that if they wanted to go for a more gender-neutral combo they should have just gone all out with a unisex name in both spots. You can't get much more feminine than a flower name.
1.) I like
Rosalyn but it's very reminiscent of the mid-twentieth century names ending in -lyn via
Carolyn and
Kathryn etc, so the current 50 to 65 year olds and it feels a little dry as a result. But I will say this even though I definitely prefer the
Rosaline spelling if I had to pick one of the mid-century names this would be a contender not going to lie. It's the most appealing of the starchy -lyn names. * on that note I'm starting to wonder if in 50 years from now women will have an aversion to the -ana or -bella names for the same reason. That'd say "too middle aged!!" Lol!
