[Opinions] Loveline
I saw this name recently. How would you pronounce it? When would you guess she was born?
What would you think if you met someone named Loveline?

It sounds kind of dirty as in "love line", it makes me think of some hotline that you can call for phone p#rn or something.
My guess is that it is actually pronounced LOVE-eh-leen or something.
My guess is early 1900s.

For some weird reason, I'd pronounce it LAW-vuh-leen.
I'd expect her to be somewhere in her 70s or 80s.

I would guess it was luv-leen, and the person was in their 80's-90s.
I prefer Loveday.

Love Line
That how I misread Loveline. As Love + Line, like it was a 1-900 number or similar hotline. Loveleen would be better in this case, but still... it doesn't seem like a real person's name. (I once knew a Lovely, and that was odd enough as a personal name.)

I guess I'd say it Luv-a-leen, but all bets are off. It sounds like a personal lubricant.
At first it makes me think of a very old woman, but some younger Haitian girls also have names along those lines. There was a girl in our daughter's class several years ago who was Haitian and her name was Childmyline. It was pronounced Chimma-leen.
