Any child given this name in the USA will surely at some point have to endure teasing about the sound similarity to "ass story".
Now, being teased about one's name really is not the most horrible thing that can happen to a child. But I would think any parent who bestowed this name on a daughter would have to be able to explain to her a very good reason why she was given it -- maybe the parents met in Astoria, for instance. This is the sort of name where the parents would need to have a good "back story" to make the child proud of the name and endure the teasing.
