LilaI prefer the spelling Lyla but Lila is better than Isla.

IslaLila seems to me like it's short for Delilah.
I like Lyla more than Lila because the pronunciation isn't ambiguous.
But Isla is better than either, imo.

If Lila is pronounced LIE-la, then Lila. If Lila is pronounced LEE-la, then Isla.

LilaLila feels more old fashioned and timeless, where as I can't imagine an Isla over the age of 10. I prefer the LEE-la pronunciation, especially as a nickname for Lilavati
