Tang ina is the word for "motherf***er" in Filipino/Tagalog
Make me think of “tangerine”. I’ll pass.
Reminds me way too much of Tangerine. It reminds me of Clementine, as a matter of fact.
She freaked me out so much when I was little!
It doesn't work. It sounds like an ugly mixture of the words "tangerine", "tan", "angina", "vagina", "anger" etc.

Me too. The entire movie freaked me out as a kid— especially that clown scene.
That said I don’t like the name. I don’t care for it pronounced Tan GEE nuh TAHN gee nuh or even worse Tan GYE nuh

She freaked me out too (-;
It makes me cringe, genuinely. I think it’s really ugly. I don’t know how to pronounce it either, but I figure tan-gee-na? I don’t like a lot of -gina names, they all seem rather dated to me.
Tan-jie-na would be worse…*puke*
But maybe it’s ton-, like Tonya?
Either way, I don’t like it at all.

In the movies, it was pronounced Tan-jee-nah.
Don't really like it
I once knew a Tangela, so Tangina doesn't surprise me. However, both names sound like orange-flavored drinks.
