It's cute for a little kid or a pet, but it's not something that an adult could pull off. Better to call her June and use Junebug as a nickname.

I second the pug. Not keen on it for a human. The "bug" part really puts me off. Beetles are not cute. You might have an argument for a cartoonish ladybird, but I think that's the only universal exception
