[Opinions] Dandelion
Now, I'm asking about Dandelion. What do you think?

Only as a middle name. There are so many much better flower names out there.
No. Just no. Maybe for a rabbit, but not for a human.
Terrible
Interesting, but not exactly in a good way. It’s also a bit of a mouthful. With this name you’re definitely gonna have to pair it with something universally known. I also think of a baby saying “Dana’s Lying!”
The flower itself I only think of this:

It’s nice to blow at, but otherwise not that pretty.

I have a soft spot for dandelions. My mom loves to tell me the story of how at two years old I gazed out upon the dandelion-infested back yard that she was trying to conquer and sighed about how pretty it was. I kinda like that idea of the dandelion being something that changes one's perspective and has an artless innocence about it. And I like how tough and resilient they are....and how they also represent hopes and dreams, because of the practice of blowing the seeds and making a wish. It's a nice word, too - I like that it means "the teeth of a lion" and that "dandy" part is sure fun.
But as a name for a real person? I don't know. It could be a middle name maybe. Imagine meeting a Michael Dandelion or an Amanda Dandelion! That would be so great. As a first name, I think it could work the way Apple works: perfect as a name for a kid who will never have to spend a day of their life in "the real world", but for anyone else it would be pretty difficult. I guess they could always stealth as a Danny/Dani. Or Andy! That's cute.

It's sickeningly cutesy, like some little girl might name her pet chicken this. I don't think the flowers themselves are all that pretty, even.
