I immediately think of "Beverly Hills 90210" and the twins, Brenda and Brandon. I watched reruns of that show as a child sometimes. So they both feel dated.
But Brandon feels 90s dated and Brenda feels...60s dated, I guess?
Even though they are similar they don't go well together. Well, they are too similar for siblings anyway, but their style doesn't really match.
I think I prefer Brendan, I like the meaning "prince" and it feels more timeless. But Brandon can still work. It doesn't sound super dated.
I guess Brandon in 2090 and Brenda in the 2060s.
But Brandon is classic enough that it will not go completely out of style.
I like Brandon but not nearly enough to use. Brenda is very no-nonsense and a bit strict, but Brenda sounds like a woman who knows what she wants and who would be respected.
