I met a group of siblings yesterday and their names surprised me. None of the names were exceptionally unusual but I was surprised to hear them on children so young as the eldest would only be around 12 years old.

9 siblings? Where do you live?

Here in Italy people have 1-2 children and if you meet a large family they are no more than 4 or 5.

I like Anthea and Claire.

9 children is almost unheard of here and I wondered at the time if it might be a blended family too.

I agree: Tracy in particular is a surprise.

I like Anthea, Laura, Clare rather than Claire, Adrian and Stephen - which is another vintage surprise.

I like Michele, the name of two good friends, one English and one French, but not the two-L version. And I like Christopher for someone else or their child. Not being at all religious, I wouldn't use it.

I heartily dislike Tracy and Sarah.
