Adonis sounds better, since he won’t be going by his middle name in day to day life. However Marcellus Reid sounds better.

Adonis is a fine name on its own. If you’re gonna end up calling him Donny I’d say just go with Marcellus since Marcel sounds nice and Reid goes well with it.

I like Marcellus more. I love the way Adonis looks, but I don't love the sound, and I think it's a very "laden" name - the idea of an Adonis being of average attractiveness is sorta not fun, it invites a constant comparison to its major namesake, and I think it's sort of a shallow ideal for a name to point to.

I like the sound of Adonis a bit better, but being named after a man who is legendary for his beauty is a lot to live up to. What if he's just average looking? I like Marcel better than Marcellus.

Adonis is too much to live up to. Stay with Marcellus or Marcel; Marcel Adonis would work, but only just.

Don't like either, Marcellus slightly better
