It is pronounced deh-lah-mee-dah. It might be a combination of "Delia" (deh-lee-ah) and Miriam. Miriam is the Hebrew form of Mary. Delia might come from Greek mythology. It could also be a short form of Adelia (elaborated form of Adela) or Bedelia (Irish form of Bridget).
