[Opinions] Francis
On a boy.
I like it. It's very masculine and strong.
Thoughts?

I love it, but I don't think it's masculine or strong. I guess it's strong in a quiet, internal way. I'd call it quiet, intelligent, soft, and centered. Maybe feminine, but not in the "girls name" sense, it's definitely a "boys name" but it has a bit of a feminine style.
I also like the saint association (usually I don't care about saint names but this one stands out to me for some reason).

It seems like a gentle masculine name, and I like that about it. I don't care for the meaning, but I guess the saint is a positive association. I always thought Francis "Fran" was kind of dashing, and I also like François.
In comparison to almost all other forms of it, I don't like Frank, which seems like it should be plural or followed by furt.
I feel Francis is similar to names like Maurice or Louis or Patrick.

Don't like it
I would say it's about the opposite of masculine and strong. Especially considering Frances. Frank would be the masculine and strong name. The ending of Francis is quite a bit softer.
Masculine and strong? I disagree. I think it's attractive in a quiet, academic way.
Yeah I like it too, and I like Frank. I think it's perfectly manly enough.
Frank
