Help[Opinions] British English diminutives or rare names
Hi !!!
Yesterday when I posted a list of English names (using the Random Generator) a user told me that the most of them seemed American English.

I guess that variant names and diminutives used as first names are more used there while in UK traditional/classic names are more common.
My question is: are there diminutives or names that are typically British?
I don't mean "classic" names neither Scottish/Irish/Welsh/Cornish ones...

Mireio is right, diminutives like these are much more popular in the UK than in the US at the moment.

Also, it is currently much more common to use diminutives as first names in the UK than in the US. Shortened forms like Lottie, Evie, Alfie and Reggie are all very popular in the UK.
