NO, no, no. Do you know how many people are going to name their daughters Brooklyn (or Brooklynn, Brooklynne, Brooke-Lynn, etc.)? It's not girly, it's a place name, it's trendy. 3 strikes, it's out (for me, anyway.). You're welcome to use it if it has great significance to you or if you really love it, but my suggestion would be to avoid Brooklyn as a name. It's going to sound very dated in a decade or so.edited for clarity
