[Opinions] I have a strange fondness for old-lady names, too.

I go to our cemetary (town was established in 1805, but the cemetary is actually a bit older) to find unusual names. And yes, upon seeing Hazelen, I thought it was Hazellen, too. I'd have to spell it Hazelyn or Hazelin to say it right! Please, PM me your whole list. I really like Artemissa Possum and Muffin Mann. (Those parents had great senses of humor).

HannahI will dub my first child Alexander. If you want to know what will occur if my first child is a girl, I will tell you. He will not be a girl.

Better yet, I'll put it right here. It's perpetually unfinished, of course; whenever I go to the library, I come back with a few more names. Some of them aren't odd so much as really neat-sounding to my ears, but I promise that each and every one of them was a recorded person. :)Names Collected from the Census Records at the Library (1790-1930)Female:
