My second son is named Joah! I saw it in the King James Version of the Bible and fell in love with it. Noah is so common I thought Joah would be less boring of a name. But he was born in 2013. So, I'm kind of glad it hasn't become as popular as Noah has been yet!

I think it's a great name with a Hebrew/Biblical feel to it.

It seems soft and nice, but it also looks like a hybrid of Jonah and Noah, and I wouldn't want to risk ending up with a kid called "Joe".

Looks like a typo of Jonah.

I like Joe as a nn, but only for Joseph. Joah is determinedly biblical, and would give strangers the wrong impression of me and my family if I used it IRL; which I wouldn't. It really doesn't appeal to me, any more than Noah does.

Honestly, it just seems boring to me. Joe, Noah, ... Joah. It's a bit less forgettable than Joe and Noah, but not more appealing to me.
It does sound "rare Biblical," and suitable as a guy's name, in my opinion, but I get no particular impression good or bad.

A poster here has a child named Joah.

It's so like Jonah, Noah, Joab, Joel, Josiah and Joe that it mostly reads as rare Biblical + very ordinary to me; the meaning is interesting.

Like a mistyped Jonah or maybe Noah. The sound isn't so great either. I wonder if this is actually a name? It looks Biblical, but it isn't in the BTN database, so I'm wondering if it was someone's idea of a Biblical-looking name.
