I'm trying to trace back the name
CLAIRE
>
CLARA
> CLARUS, but have failed to get beyond St.Clarus, a 7th cent. bishop. Was Clarus used as a name in the
Roman
Empire? Is there a link for Latin names like LGPN for Greek names?
