I do actually prefer it by itself, most of the time, but it'd depend on the combo.I like Gwendolen, Gwendoline, and Gwyneira, so of the ones you listed, I'd pick Gwendolyn.I like Gwyneth abstractly, but it's too associated with Paltrow.
Guinevere is pretty and regal seeming but a horse name to me.

I think it can stand of its own. I like it. Gwendolen, Gwendolyn, Gwyneth, etc.

Gwen is technically a full name that's also used as a short form. I teach a couple of "just Gwen's".That being said, Gwendolen and Guinevere are beautiful.I also like Gwyneira.I think I'd go for Gwendolen because even though I really like Gwen, it'd be fun to have the option o Dolly for a little kid.
Gwendolen Ruby
Gwendolen Sophia
Gwendolen Topaz
Gwendolen Ffion
Gwendolen Iris
Gwendolen Sabrina
Gwendolen Jessica
Gwendolen Rhiannon
Gwendolen Cecilia
Gwendolen Ruth

I like Gwen by itself. If I have to choose a full, I choose Gwyneth.

I can't like Gwen or any of the names it might be short for because the gw sound is just really ugly to my ears. Like a fish gulping or something.

I like Gwen, both on it's own and as a nickname. I'd be more likely to use it as a nickname though - that way I can use two names that I like. ;-)
My favorite is Gwendolyn, or Gwendoline. I like the look of Gwyneth as wek, but not the sound of the -neth part. Maybe because it reminds me of Jeanette, a name I've never liked and which is quite dated here.
