Doesn't appeal to me, any more than Audrey does. And surely Audie Murphy's memory still tinges it with testosterone?Come to think of it, why was he named Audie? Or, was he? Is it a full name or a nn? Too tired to look him up.

Apparently it is an Irish diminutive of Edward.
