Maylie is cute but it will always get mixed up with Miley so I would avoid it. I like how it reminds me of the month of May, though. But you will also always have to spell it. People might do Maylee, Mayley, Maley, Mailey, Mailie, Mayli etc.

I know a Meilin, which sounds very close - she's from Shanghai originally but now she spells her name as one word. I prefer it to Maylie, which sounds like 'somewhat masculine' - like some unisex names, OK for both but more femalie than malie!
