[Opinions] On a scale of 1 - 10, how dated is the name Cassandra?
On a scale of 1 ("not dated at all") to 10 ("extremely dated"), where do you think the name Cassandra falls?
Cassandra has a bit of a dustiness to me due to how popular it became in the late 80s/early 90s in the U.S. Kind of like Alexandra. Its still a classic but has a dated element to it.
I think Cassia is a more modern sounding alternative.

6-7...But I really like it, all the way. Really classic.
That's hard. I'd actually consider it quite dated as the only Cassandras I know are in their 30s and 40s now. I'd give it a 5, I think. I wouldn't be too surprised to see it on a younger child but it feels very 80s/90s to me.
2? It's pretty timeless. Alexandra too.
Their nicknames on the other hand are a bit more dated.

Um maybe 4, a little but not a lot

3, maybe? It doesn’t usually have giant peaks and valleys. It’s too steady to become truly dated.
I would say like 3 or 4, maybe? I've only met one Cassandra, and I think she was somewhere in her 20's or 30's.
I'm not a huge fan, but I think Cassie is a charming alternative. I've never met a Cassandra, and personally I think it's too gaudy and petty to be anything other than 'spoiled rich girl'.
