Not sure if you're still planning to rework the software re: JP/KR readings, Mike, but I should let you know that the 2021 data is out. Also, from the KR link, it seems the site grabs the data from Supreme Court of Korea (
http://efamily.scourt.go.kr/), so maybe it would be wise to list that as the primary source (and maybe namechart also).
Slightly off-topic but on the same topic of name data, several countries' lists need updating (Galicia, Hungary, Lithuania, NZ, Norway, Poland, Slovenia and Turkey). Also, the links on a couple of these need updating as well:
