Renée - a classic, whereas Esmee is too trendy. I also don't like soft sss sound
Eve or Eva - Eve - short but spunky. Eva reminds me of Eva Braun
Olivia or Octavia - Olivia is almost too sweet, but I like the nicknames. Octavia sounds too harsh, almost too masculine. I'd prefer Olivia and use the nickname Liv.
Soleil or Mireille - Soleil, because I know someone named Mireille and she's a B*. If I could get away with it I'd use the nickname Sunny.
Kennedy or Reagan - two presidents. I'd rather name my daughter Kennedy, but be named Reagan myself. I really like the sound of rae.
Maristella or Candelaria - without a doubt Maristella because it reminds me of my grandmother. Plus I love that it means star of the sea.
