I think Normandy is actually a very pretty word and lends itself well to names, sound-wise. But the associations are a little intense. The altered spelling of Normandi brought me up short. I find that names ending in i usually make me feel uncomfortable. They look unfinished to me. But, I still find Normandi to be a cool name, and it makes me curious about how she got it. I feel like there's a story there.
