My best guess is a merger between Laura and Mary, probably pronounced LAUmuh. I love both Laura and Mary, together and separately, but Lauma really does not appeal. And it wouldn't appeal, if it turns out to have nothing to do with Laura and Mary. It looks limp and flabby and suitable, if anything, for MAgical LAUndry soap, or similar.
